The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, in pursuance of the project ” Awareness-raising on the Youth Guarantee implementation among young people in Bulgaria”, held an information campaign to promote the opportunities for education, training and employment of young people.

The purpose of the campaign was to show the youth how important it is to be active, how education and training help to find the desired job, what opportunities are available in the area where they live. Better awareness motivates young people to find and start work, and to engage in education or training.

In the framework of the information campaign, young people had the opportunity to get information about the employment services provided by the Labour Offices, the opportunities for vocational training at the Bulgarian-GermanVocational Training Centre at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the opportunities for inclusion / return in the education system.

The information campaign with information stands was attended by representatives of local businesses, vocational schools and nationally representative workers ‘and employees’ organizations.

Within the campaign, six information days were held in the towns:

  • Karnobat on 14 December 2016
  • Shumen on 30 January 2017
  • Smolyan on 24 February 2017
