As part of the project “Awareness-raising on the Youth Guarantee implementation among young people in Bulgaria”, on 30 May 2017, a final conference with international participation on “Youth Guarantee – Midterm State of Play” was held in Sofia. The conference was attended by representatives of the institutions and organizations, partners of the MLSP in the implementation of the Youth Guarantee, including the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Employment Agency, the National Youth Forum, nationally representative employers’ organizations and workers’ and employees’ organizations, and representatives of the academic community.
At the conference, presentations were held by representatives of the European Commission and the International Labour Organization, as well as by representatives of EU Member States working on youth employment, including Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic.
On behalf of Bulgaria, presentations were held by representatives of: the Economic Research Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as by representatives of the nationally representative employers’ organizations and workers’ and employees’ organizations.
